SOME INSPIRING STORIES ALREADY TOLD…
Below are just a couple of the stories that I helped tell with custom jewelry.

A Wonderful Memento

One of my favorite stories is this Lapis Lazuli Ring. A man reached out to me who was in the first group of Canadian Soldiers into Afghanistan with the US 101 in 2002 at Kandahar. He told me that in the mountains surrounding the area were old Lapis Lazuli mines so he wanted a Lapis ring as a memento of the Tour.

A Matching Pair

A woman contacted me because her husband had bought her a tiger eye ring from me. She was hoping I could surprise her husband with a matching ring, but his finger size is 14.5 and there was no option for that size in my listing. I told her that my ring mandrel only goes up to 13, but I would see what I could do. So I took several days to figure it out and I finally worked it out. I used one of my husband’s ratchet sockets to create the ring around and then another one to cast a mold and make a ring pellet so the ring did not shrink too much in the kiln. Problem solved!

Special Loved Ones

This mother wanted to find a way to express her love for her children. We decided on a ring with the birthstones of the girls – Sapphire for September and Aquamarine for the little one whose birthday was in March.

Memory of a Special Place

One of my collections takes actual leaves and through a process that is much a labor of love, I create beautifully detailed pure silver replicas of the real leaves. For this piece a woman wrote “Aspen leaves mean a lot to me since my daughter lives out in Colorado and was married there. This particular leaf was a very lucky one as it was found in the middle of winter when all the leaves were off the trees and the ground was covered with a foot of snow. My daughter opened her trunk and somehow a leaf got stuck on the top of the inside of the trunk. As she opened the trunk the leaf floated down. And this is how my necklace started.” Her son than placed it in his book on his way home from visiting his sister and gave me the leaf and I created a fine silver memory that will be treasured forever.
