These nature inspired fine silver (.999) earrings began from real mint leaves from my yard. And although these silver leaves have lost their smell, they are reminders of those fun summer nights drinking tall glasses of mint juleps in the backyard as well as enjoying mint hot tea on a cold winter night. They are finished with a touch of malachite – used for deep energy cleaning, bringing healing and positive transformation to the wearer.

LEAF PROCESS:
Intricate and realistic detailing of leaves can only be achieved through a process that is very much a labor of love. After finding a gorgeous leaf that has fallen off the tree, I bring it home and paint twelve layers of precious metal clay slip onto the leaf. I then fire it in the kiln to produce this gorgeous, nature-inspired fine silver (.999) leaf that can be cherished forever.
