This beautifully perfect leaf floated down to my feet just as I was walking in the house. I had to bring it in and capture its beauty in pure silver. This large fine silver (.999) oak leaf pendant will command attention. It is hand painted so the true texture of the leaf is simply gorgeous. It is finished on an adjustable leather cord to be worn long or close to the neck.
LEAF PROCESS:
Intricate and realistic detailing of leaves can only be achieved through a process that is very much a labor of love. After finding a gorgeous leaf that has fallen off the tree, I bring it home and paint twelve layers of precious metal clay slip onto the leaf. I then fire it in the kiln to produce this gorgeous, nature-inspired fine silver (.999) leaf that can be cherished forever.
