This nature inspired fine silver (.999) leaf pendant reminds me of the beautiful leaves that swirl around in the snow. It is finished on a lovely sterling silver oxidized textured chain that measures about 18″. A great every day piece and would make a nice gift for that nature lover friend.
LEAF PROCESS:
Intricate and realistic detailing of leaves can only be achieved through a process that is very much a labor of love. First, I find a gorgeous leaf that has fallen off the tree. Next, I bring it home and paint twelve layers of precious metal clay slip onto the leaf. Finally, I fire it in the kiln to produce this gorgeous, nature-inspired fine silver (.999) leaf. A gift to a friend or yourself that will be cherished forever.
